So I wanna dive into yet another subtle moment that’s just perfect? Victor basically just gave both Yuri’s a wake up call about how mediocre they are and set the stakes here. If they want to win they have to get out of their comfort zone, impress him and he’ll do what they want. For Yurio he wants Victor to come back with him for the rest of his senior debut and help him take gold. To which Victor probably already knew so he just gives him a nothing to it appeasement, much to Yuri’s dismay.
Next he goes to ask Yuri what he wants and I think a part of him sort of expects to hear the same wish of him staying to coach him. And he’s also ready to resign to that wish as well because people have ulterior motives for everything and he’s aware of how to play that game.
But I think this scene is where Yuri is the one who genuinely surprises him for the first time in ages.
I mean look at him, Victor is shook and Yurio’s more like “Seriously he’s thinking about food right now?”
But this look on Victor’s face as Yuri continues his passionate plea of sincerely asking that he eats katsudon with him: he knows the only time Yuri should be eating them is when he wins competitions and Yuri wants to make it clear that he intends to keep winning so they can share that moment together. Not so then he can selfishly ask him to stay but because he’s gonna work hard for him to stay.
I mean how could you not appreciate how pumped up and determined he is. He means business! And to end it off, and I wish I could portray it better in this last photo but Victor is looking at Yuri SO encouraged by all of this cause I think it’s the first time no one has asked anything of him, because he literally said I just wanna eat my favorite food in the world with you and that’s so goddamn intimate. His eyes literally sparkle.
red delicious apples are a waste of agricultural resources
They literally only exist so much because baby boomers liked how pretty they were and didn’t care that they were disgusting. By the 90s grocery stores routinely bought them and threw them away.
“…the paradox of the Red Delicious: alluring yet undesirable, the most produced and arguably the least popular apple in the United States. It lurks in desolation. Bumped around the bottom of lunch bags as schoolchildren rummage for chips or shrink-wrapped Rice Krispies treats. Waiting by the last bruised banana in a roadside gas station, the only produce for miles. Left untouched on hospital trays, forlorn in the fruit bowl at hotel breakfast buffets, bereft in nests of gift-basket raffia.” -Sarah Yager, The Awful Reign of the Red Delicious
Scott arriving to the avengers compound where everyone is miserable because their friends are dead but it’s ok cuz he gave up hope years ago and he’s got a gen z way of dealing with depression
“the actress for the Kim Possible movie looks too young!”
Do these people know what a 16 year old looks like or do they just assume all teenage girls have the face and body of a 25 year old victoria secret super model
what 16 year olds look like vs what y’all think 16 year olds look like
the Kim Possible movie, the She-Ra reboot and the Thundercats reboot are proof that if you make previously sexualized characters a little bit more respectable and age appropriate, horny grown men will have an uproar
People condescendingly telling me that nobody is doing this can kindly fuck off because the actress (who may I remind you is 16 lol) literally posted this
I feel like I need to write an article like “How to React When Your Friend Comes Out: A Guide For Really, Really Straight People” and it’s just eighty pages of me transcribing all the terrible experiences I’ve had coming out to straight people
Chapter 1: Why “I Knew It” Is Nowhere Near As Funny As You Think It Is
Chapter 2: Is Now The Time For An Abridged History Of You Being A Good Ally™? Signs Point To No
OP, I cannot tell if you are writing an article or a book, but where is the rest of it?
